Yesterday I started a new teaching series at my church, called “Know the Story. Share the Story.” It’s based on 3-4 years of my writing and thinking life about how we retell God’s Story and what we should say when we retell it. My hope is that people will better understand the pieces of God’s magical, revolutionary Story of Rescue in Jesus, so that they can share that Story with their friends or coworkers of family or neighbors.
Here is the first of four teachings on God’s Story, Creation. The main idea is that we are created, on purpose and with purpose, by a creator. And as humans we are God’s crowning achievements; we are Statues of God.
