I have left for an end-of-the-year spiritual retreat to get away and along with Jesus until January 1st. I am leaving my laptop at home, but have post-dated 2 posts that I hope you enjoy. I would appreciate prayer for this retreat, that it would be a meaningful, restful time away to meditate and have some silence and solitude with my Maker. After a big year of transition and an equally big semester, prayer, contemplation, and solitude is much needed!

Also, thanks to many of you for all of the support this year as I’ve begun blogging again and entered a very fresh, new season. You are valued and I look forward to wrestling some more in the wonderful digital world in the new year!
