This series of posts is meant to begin to lay a theological and spiritual context to this blog. It is a work-in-progress and I assure you it will be amended. Look for my credo to unfold over the next few weeks.
I believe God wants nothing more than to restore the God-Man relationship and creation-society to the way in which they were originally intended to be.
I believe God desires to be in relationship with every single person in the world, not simply a select few; God desires to include each of His Eikons in His restorative plan, not desiring that any be excluded to perish.
I believe God provided the means by which the God-Man relationship and creation-society can be restored to the way in which they were originally intended to be: Jesus Christ.
I believe God enfleshed Himself in the Person of Jesus Christ to demonstrate the fullest extent of His love for Man and the world.
I believe Jesus Christ’s vision for restoring the God-Man relationship was communicated through the Cross.
I believe Jesus Christ’s vision for restoring creation-society was communicated through His teachings on the Kingdom of God.

What do you think about the idea that rather than His restoration being
“to the way in which they were originally intended to be.” …
It’s instead, “to better than the original intent.”
God’s restoration seems better than the original … He more than took away Naaman’s leprosy. He restored his skin to the condition of a newborn baby’s.
I’ve been pondering this … there are multiple examples where He not only restores what was lost, but gives back better than what was taken.
It’s fun to think about!
