The past few weeks we’ve been looking at the story of the early church through the Book of Acts. And we’ve been looking at how we are called to fill in the BLANK for “Church is ____”.
We’ve seen that the Church is the hope of the world. Church is a group of devoted people. Church is bedazzeling because it is called to knock the socks off our world by how we live and love. And last week, the Church is prepared to share God’s story.
Well this week we add another by looking at one of the most fascinating stories in the Book of Acts. The story is Acts chapter 15. It is probably the most crucial stories in the Book of Acts.
It’s one of the most crucial stories in the story of the Church because it reminds us that the Church of Jesus Christ is barrier-free because the gospel itself is barrier free. Jesus + nothing = salvation!
