I am sick of the status quo christianity of USAmerica. I want to start a revolution of Jesus followers who take his way seriously. I want to cultivate new Jesus followers who are passionate about Jesus and His way.
I wrote this on a little digital stickie note in my MacBook last week during my church planting class. It’s the reason I desire to plant, cultivate, and shepherd a little community of Jesus followers.
I wonder if it will ever come true…

People are hungry for leadership. They want leadership that means more than –give $20 bucks for a blessing at the door, see you next week — they want leadership that challenges and inspires.
Don’t worry, you’ve got the passion, Jesus won’t waste that.

you are going to be a great leader. heck, you already are! people are spiritually starving and you are going to help them in unimaginable ways! be encouraged!
Yeah, ironically I find it hard to be a Christian in our culture. People think the opposite, but our culture really works against us.
