Most gracious, merciful God, I thank you for creating marriage as a reflection of your own relationship between Father, Son, and Spirit; to provide companionship, support, and love for men and women; and to produce and raise children in the way of the Lord. I pray protection and provision over the marriages of my city: Protect them from the Enemy that would seek to devour and destroy your blessed creation; provoke husbands and wives to remain faithful to each other in good times and bad; and provide every resource necessary to preserve this most holy union; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
