Here is our discussion on the back story to the Jesus one in our JESUS WINS discussion series in Grand Rapids, MI. This series is meant to respond to the conversation being generated in our community by Love Wins .
Before we get to considering how the book, Holy Scriptures, and Christian faith talk about the person and work of Jesus, we took time to understand some of the major themes of the Jewish story, including: Abraham, Exodus, and Exile/New Exodus. It was a great discussion, one I think sets us up well in a month when we look at the person of Jesus.
