O God, I come before you this afternoon in prayer for the next generation of my city: May you raise up a new generation that deliberately lives in service of your Kingdom, courageously proclaims the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and fervently seeks your face, oh God of Jacob; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen.
