Tonight I leave for Beius, Romania for a 10-day missions trip. My coworker and I are taking government and Capitol Hill staffers to share the love of Jesus in orphanages, gypsie villages, and with poor families. I have never been a part of something quite like this and am bracing myself for its weight and impact.
Because I will be overseas in a foreign land, this blogsite may be vacant for quite a while. I really hope Beius has joined in with the rest of Europe’s Internet Cafe revolution, because I would love to make regular blog postings on what I am experiencing and what Jesus is doing. Hopefully I’ll be able to post a few items, but don’t count on it. Check back a few times for new posts, if you want, but also take the opportunity to review some old posts and comment. I’d love to hear some feedback on past posts!
Well, thanks for stopping by these past few months and pray for this trip. I’d appreciate prayers over our travel, luggage, health, spiritual state, attitudes, team, and anything else you can think of! One item in particular: I will be preaching in a church Sunday morning. While I am humbled and feel honored by this opportunity, I am also a little intimidated. I think I have an idea of what I want to share, but please pray for the right message, words, and ability. Thanks for your prayers and check back a bit for some updates.
be His,
jeremy
