After 30 hours of travel time (between flying, layover, flying, layover, and flying again) I made it to Romania at about midnight Romania time! Although my luggage didn’t so please pray for that!

I wanted to post a quick update letting you all know I made it safely. Obviously after so much travel and the 7 hour time difference I am wiped! I’ve gotten about 10 hours of good sleep in the last 3 days, but I am so excited about being here. I feel so priveledged to be able to serve for a bit in this mission that has been here for so long. The town is quaint and beautiful and the people are friendly. The kids were excited to see us, too, so that makes it even better! The only problem is the language barrier, which I didnt really think would be a problem. I am trying to pick up some phrases and words to communicate, especially with the kids, but its definitly different. There are people in the orphanage that speak English and we have translators, but it’s still a challenge!

Anyway, hopefully I’ll be able to pop back in soon and leave some more comments and prayers. Please pray for strength, for my attitude as I am tired, weary, and cranky! Pray that my (and Jesse’s) luggage will arrive safely and soon. Pray that the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His love would stream through us. And pray for health and pray for a spiritually impacting trip for me personally.

being His in Romania,
