Over a month ago I introduced a spiritual practice that is near and dear to my hear called the Daily Office, while also launching a sister-site called “The Daily Office at Novus Lumen.” I got the idea from reading a book by Phylis Tickle called “Divine Hours: Pocket Edition.” It helped get me started with this daily practice and I thought how great it would be to create a site that was as easy and condensed.
If you haven’t checked it out yet, please do! Its nothing special, but it’s helped my own prayer life and personal times with God as I struggle sometimes to create meaningful time with my Father, in addition to creating a more disciplined prayer life.
I’ve even done all the hard work for you! Just pick the period of the day below and enjoy 10 minutes or so in historic, rich meaningful praise and prayer with your Creator and Redeemer.
“Evening and morning and noonday I cry out from the depths of my soul, and Yahweh hears me. -Psalm 55:17”
