Tonight I led our second week of evangelism training for eight congressional staffers. We began to explore Rabbinic Evangelism, the concept of following in the inspiration of Jesus by responding to questions with questions in spiritual conversations. It was great dialogue, but the best was at the end when these eight staffers stepped out to name 15 non-Christian co-workers to have these conversations. The goal is not to go on a spiritual crusade to simply claim scalps, but to step out of the boat and engage the community around them in spiritual dialogue with the hopes of leading them to liberation in Christ.
For those who are interested in seeing the reality of God invade the Hill community, I would encourage you to pray for this training time, the staffers who desire to step out and engage people in spiritual dialogue, and those 15 who desperately need to find relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ.
A short update from the “front”. Sorry for the inactivity on this site for a bit, but life on Capitol Hill has been very hectice. I cannot wait for October!
be His,
